Students showing up late to any class is disruptive to the students that are there on time.
Once class has begun there will be no more registration of new students. If already registered and running late, you may be asked to catch the next class, depending on the topic. In general, the thinking should be once a class starts that is the focus.
This a great question. Many experienced shooter have over the years purchased guns that do not fit them nor is it sufficient for the intended self-defense application they need to solve. There are many factors to consider and even health and physical limitations may need to be a assessed before that decision and purchase should be made.
Also, get some experience in shooting first, if possible or practical, before you make that decision. Remember a firearm is a tool that you, and possibly others, are depending on to save your life so don't make a hasty or uninformed decision.
